3 Changes We Will See in the Vaporizer Industry in Coming Years

The vaporizer industry sprung up almost out of nowhere, starting small and springing into a bounty of different manufactures and stores in mere years. But where do we go from here? With vaporizer regulations under constant question, and legitimate studies final springing from the water works, what’s going to happen?

  1. This is a Good Thing
The FDA and other major regulating organizations getting involved in the vaporizer industry is far from a bad thing. When talk first started, a lot of vapors were worried this might be the death of the industry, but it’s far from it. It’s the legitimizing of the industry. If, like me, you have ever ordered a sweet mod or vaporizer pen from overseas only to have it break within the first few days of using it, then you’ll be delighted with the changes that are to come. Industry regulations won’t weed out every shady dealer, but they will help you identify the good ones. In the end FDA regulations help make good business better, and shut out shady dealers with poorly-made products.
  1. Temperature Controls will Become an Industry Standard
If you have never tried a device with temperature controls, let me tell you what you’re missing. NiChrome resistance wire has never felt so strong. In the early days of the industry, there was a lot of speculation about whether or not the temperature that mods heat coils too could cause serious problems when combined with certain liquids and cotton types. From what we know right now, there is a glimmer of truth to this, and that’s why temperature regulation is such an enormous step forward. Temperature control mods, like the i50TC, are where the industry is going, so be ready to see more and more of them as time goes on.
  1. Prices may see a slight increase
This is a slight con that comes with a lot of pros. You see, regulations mean that companies are going to have to have all of their products certified as safe, something Atmos has already been doing for years. So for many other companies that haven’t been following those standards, there comes a new cost to every device they make. Which will most likely be reflected in the price of their devices. The upside to this is that you will feel much safer knowing that your new vaporizer is FDA approved. So rest easy.

There are a lot of other changes that will probably come with closer regulations on the industry, more companies sporting warranties for one. But try not to worry too much, the world is surprisingly open to new markets as they help economies grow, and in this case in particular, there’s a lot to gain from accepting an industry that benefits the public so greatly. So keep an eye out for changes as they come, and we will do our best to keep you current on the latest in vaporizer news.
